Generally, one of the main highlights of the DROID is definitely the Android 2.0 as the phone’s software. As you can see, the Android operating system is designed and released by Google, and when you use software that comes from the owners of YouTube, Google Search, Google Maps, Google Talk, and Gmail, you can expect your device to offer you with all these functionalities. I’m pretty sure that most of these Google applications have widespread usage, as I myself use Google Maps, Google Search, Gmail, and even watch movies on YouTube.

On the other hand, the DROID does come with a larger screen size which measures 3.7-inch. Also, I believe that you can good images from the display, as this particular screen supports 854 x 480 pixels, via its 16M color capacitive TFT LCD touchscreen of WVGA resolution.

Also, the DROID is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 550 MHz processor, and there’s even a dedicated graphics accelerator as well. With such processing power, I believe that you can enjoy good 3D mobile games via the DROID keyboard phones.

Sadly however, the Motorola DROID is pretty large and bulky. Also, it comes with only a 5.0 megapixel onboard camera as well, which gives you average snapshots. On the other hand, the microSD memory expansion slot only allows you to upgrade the memory by 16GB only, which is clearly insufficient. And as for the keyboard, it seems that the keyboard will not tilt to a certain angle, which I think is also a primary disadvantage of the phone.

Nevertheless, if you are a huge fan of the Google Android, and if you enjoy using Google applications tremendously, I believe that you should definitely opt for the Motorola DROID keyboard phones. Furthermore, this particular phone is perfect for browsing the internet, which I think is a huge bonus for net surfers.
