Well the Nokia N900 keyboard phones surfaced in the market on November, 2009, and this particular phone redefined everything we know in a smart phone. Generally, the phone is in fact a miniature computer, in which you can use for your Word processing tasks or perhaps browsing the internet using the Mozilla-based web browser. Also, you can expect the phone to deliver crisp and clear images, as the phone comes equipped with a 3.5 inch display that has 16M colors. Here are the Nokia N900 keyboard phones specifications: Nokia N900Supported Networks: 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G Network HSDPA 1700 / 2100 / 900 Availability: Announced on 2009, August Available in the market. With such a large screen size, I believe that it’s comparable with the Apple iPhone’s display. On the other hand, what makes the N900 rather special is that the phone comes with a built-in graphics accelerator called the PowerVR SGX. Couple this graphics accelerator with the ARM Cortex A8 600MHz CPU, I believe that you can play fantastic mobile based games on the phone – which is perfect for gamers. On the other hand, I find the Mozilla-based browser to be top of the line. I don’t think that there are many smartphones in the market than has such software, and with the N900 equipped with the browser, I believe that this is a huge bonus for the phone. And with 3G, 10 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA support, I believe that you can surf at blazing speeds with the N900. Also, you can expect the N900 keyboard phone to deliver excellent sound as it comes with stereo speakers. Not many phones in the market has stereo speakers, and I can tell you that stereo speakers definitely rock, as you get crisp and clear sound from these speakers. However, do take note that the Nokia N900 keyboard phones are larger than any other average phones in the market. Measuring at 110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm, I believe that the size is ideal for people with larger palms. Also, the phone weighs in at 181 grams, which is much heavier compared to other smartphones in the market. On the down side, this particular keyboard phone comes with an outdated 5.0 megapixel camera. Although 5 megapixel will still give you acceptable images, I believe that the current market standards are at a minimal of 8.0 megapixel to up to 12.2 megapixel sensors. Generally, if you don’t mind the large size and average onboard camera, I’m pretty sure you’ll like the Nokia N900 keyboard phone. Personally, I find this particular phone to be a very good internet device, thus it comes highly recommended for me! ![]() |
